Dear Mum

Geeze, the Kiwi Mistress cleaned and refreshed our litter, swept outside, and watered all the plants! Although just quietly we don’t think some of them will revive! She’s given us food and water and provided cuddles and strokes to us all.

We are settling into a routine with our new house guest.

Well we’ve been fed, watered, and been given attention of cuddles as we each endure! So much so, 3 of us joined her in bed overnight!

We've had a good day, with lots of cuddles for those of use who wanted it! We really aren't keen on that 'pate' stuff, but eventually it gets the better of most of use, and we eat it! We are certainly not starving!

Quiet day here today, we all spent most of it outside. The Kiwi Mistress had a few too many beersies last night, so wasn’t up to doing much!

We’ve all had a good day, although the Kiwi Mistress after feeding us and scooping poop, headed off and only got back a short while ago! We thought our throats had been slit, cause we felt we needed feeding despite there still being pate, biscuits, and water!

Dear Mum

The Kiwi Mistress went out for dinner with Jeanette, Sally, and Jonathon! Apparently she enjoyed the company, pfft, and left us to fend for ourselves for a few hours!

Anyways, we ate actually OK, but she’s not sure what to do with our offerings of bats! Apparently she’s used to mice, rats, birds, and frogs, but not bats! Go figure!

All is well with us all, although one of us is seeing inside and not always on the floor! The fold out bed’s mattress has been weed on! The Kiwi Mistress has not caught the naughty one!

Hercules went out, he didn’t stray far from the house, but did ‘see off’ a few of the regular visiting cats! The rest of us looked outside wistfully at his freedom, waiting for our turn!

Dear Mum

Hercules has been out and about again! The rest of us stare wistfully out the window at him!

We’ve had a new cardboard box to scratch to bits and leave a mess all over the floor, but we’ve all enjoyed it at some stage!

The Kiwi Mistress went out with Sally and had a costal road trip and a couple of beers and a shop at the supermarket, our eyes gleamed with excitement at the introduction of food shopping! Although we’ve been politely informed it’s for the Kiwi Mistress not us!

Dear Mum

Quiet day for most of us, grazing, snoozing, playing, and having cuddles, all except Hercules who got to meander outside - again!

The Kiwi Mistress went to the beach this afternoon for sunbathing and swimming, now the sunbathing we get, but the swimming part NO THANK YOU!

Dear Mum All’s well here. There was a bit of a to do outside this morning with a very minor car crash and lots of crying, loud voices, people trying to help resolve situation - went on for a good two hours we reckon! No one was hurt, probably trying to work out who was at fault! The Kiwi Mistress only did a 1/2 day of work and then headed to the beach again! Gosh wish we had her lifestyle! The weather here continues to be glorious.

We're still not all that fussed on the wet food, but eventually over time it does get eaten! The Kiwi Mistress has given to just doing one pack of it at a time, divided between our 4 bowls, and this seems to be working better in regards to it getting consumed, before she puts out more! Thank goodness we have the biscuits to keep us all alive!

A fight today between Gin Gin and Achilles! Not sure which of us won, but no wounds!

We now have a bat in the house! The Kiwi Mistress says she’s qualified in cats bringing in birds, ducklings, baby rabbits, mice, rats, possums, and wetas, but not in bats! She reckons she might sleep outside!

We apologise for not sending you a wee message last night, the Kiwi Mistress was out with Jeanette, Sally, and Dave, and came back a 'little worse for wear'!

Anyways, we are all AOK.

The Kiwi Mistress, just about had kittens, as the fridge/freezer, did go lovely and cold, so she was able to really enjoy her G&Ts again!

Achilles, went all camera shy yesterday, but he is very much here and a happy camper.
