I've been away from New Zealand since April 2022, and I have been very fortunate that I have really not stopped travelling!

I had a 'fixed abode' for the first year, but probably only spent about 60% of my time there, and even from there, most weekends I would be out and about exploring, if I did not have a house sit somewhere.

​

I worked out that the house sits were saving me a heap of money, so gave up my 'digs', and if I don't have a house sit, I go stay with family, firends, a cheap hotel, B&B, or hostel.  Even when I do have to pay for some accommodation, I still think I have saved on overall accommodation costs since I have been full time house sitting, although the bank balance might say otherwise!

Most of my travel adventures have been solo, but I have been fortunate to have had a few trips that I have shared with others.

Travelling is a very personal experience, what I have enjoyed or not enjoyed, will be different to other people.  However, hopefully the content I will be sharing with you on the destinations I have been will inspire you to go and experience for yourself or create a sense of wonderlust in you, so that you will create your own global adventures.

Some of the detinational information is covered in many of my travel blogs, which you can read HERE.  Any specific destination content will potentially cover more than just the destination, so may include content about travel, accommodation, eating and drinking, weather, visas, insurance, luggage and packing, money and budgets, and safety.  I have sometimes clustered a few destinations together, as I may be have been based in a particular city or town, but have taken day trips to other places.  I have created a table with tabs below, each tab covers a country, and there you will find a listing with a button to take you to specific destination.

Where ever you decide to go, whatever you decide to do, have fun, enjoy, experience, grow, and learn.  Learn about yourself, and learn about others; where they live, how they live, their history, their culture, and their way of life.
