Skills, knowledge, and attributes are three important components that contribute to an individual's overall ability to perform a job or task effectively. While these terms are often used interchangeably, they each refer to distinct aspects of an individual's abilities and characteristics.

Skills refer to the practical abilities or expertise that an individual has developed through training or experience. For example, computer programming, project management, customer service, and problem-solving are all examples of skills.

Knowledge refers to the theoretical understanding or information that an individual has acquired through education or experience. For example, knowledge of finance, marketing, or human resources can be important in many jobs.

Attributes refer to personal qualities, characteristics, or traits that an individual possesses. These can include personality traits, such as being outgoing, empathetic, or detail-oriented, as well as interpersonal skills, such as effective communication, leadership, or teamwork.

In summary, skills are practical abilities, knowledge is theoretical understanding, and attributes are personal qualities that an individual possesses. All three are important for success in many different jobs and can be developed and improved through training, education, and experience.

Skills, knowledge, and attributes should be included in your CV as they are important components of your overall professional profile. Employers and recruiters are interested in not only your work experience and education but also your skills, knowledge, and personal attributes that make you a suitable candidate for the job.

Its also a good idea to consider how you can bring your skills, knowledge, and attributes in your cover letter. The cover letter is an opportunity to introduce yourself to the employer and provide a more detailed overview of your qualifications and experiences beyond what is included in your CV.
