Ferries
Ferries are another one of my favourite modes of transport, well, lets face it, I just love travel by any means!

I've not done a lot of travelling so far by this means of transport, primarily because its often not budget friendly!

I've taken the ferry from Cairnryan, Scotland to Belfast, Nothern Ireland - well worth the journey, such beautiful scenery.

The only other ferry I have taken was on Lake Thun in Switzerland, to Beatenbucht, to then take the funicular to Beatenberg and from there take the cable car up to the Niederhorn - absolutely spectacular, both the ferry journey, and the journey up into the Swiss Alps.

I personally think that while ferry travel can be more expensive and can take longer, than some other modes of transpports, you are having a totally different experience, and sometimes the costal scenery is just out of this world, so worth putting your pennies towards these opportunities where you can.

I'll bring more content about the ferry travel I have completed, and as I experience more travel by this mode of transport, I'll be sure to add this information as well. Happy 'sailing'!
