Buses are my least favourite mode of transport, but sometimes needs must, so I have taken a few journeys by bus, usually when its been because there has been no other means of transport to get somewhere, or its part of a 'travel package', the other mode of transport has been cancelled, or because my budget wouldn't stretch to another mode of transport! 

 

On the plus side, buses can often be the cheapest means of transport, and most modern buses are comfortable (including toilets aircon, and heating), and you do get to see the world pass you by through big windows.

This section will focus on longer distance bus trips, as a opposed to bus travel within a destination (inclduing 'hop on hop off' tourist buses), which I will cover in this websites section on the destinations I have visited, where I have used buses.
